CPD record review
Other content in this section
The purpose of record review is to ensure that registrants are undertaking CPD which aligns with their scope of practice and professional development needs, and that they are keeping good-quality records of CPD they complete.
It has been introduced for quality assurance purposes.
Up to ten percent of registrants will have their CPD records reviewed each CPD cycle. Review will take place every April, June and October, and registrants will receive an email if their records are selected for review.
Registrants shouldn’t need to provide anything in advance of review as it is carried out by looking at registrant MyCPD records.
Review is intended to be a positive process where, if issues are identified, registrants are supported
to work on them.

CPD provider audit takes place concurrently with record review to ensure the learning providers deliver to registrants is of good quality and meets the Standards for CPD providers. Find out more about CPD provider audit.
